So for those of you who didn’t know, my project is COMPLETELY independent at this point. Any videos, music, pictures, etc… that you may see from me are all things cooked up by my small, yet extremely hardworking team of hustlers, lol.

I’m sharing that to say that the response from my visual for SEARCHING has been AMAZING and ENCOURAGING and HUMBLING etc…

You guys have NO idea what the struggles were behind the scenes to get it done…but we DID IT!! Now the video is featured on over 30 cool blogs & websites (including a couple of my favorites, ConcreteLOOP, Vibe Magazine, and the UK’s SoulCulture)!!!!!!!!!!

I call that PROGRESS.

The basic idea behind the video is as follows…

There’s a great woman who’s looking for a nice guy (who’s right there, but she doesnt see him) in all the wrong places (the alley). The video is an artistic take on the literal concept of the song that basically says most of us women are looking for love in the wrong places. Most times love is right in front you & you just dont see it. Maybe its because your not ready or because u dont love yourself enough…

Overall I think its an important lesson to learn that “SEARCHING” for love is NOT necessary for a woman because the GOOD BOOK says…”He who finds a wife, finds a good thing”

MY MESSAGE TO THE LADIES OUT THERE: Love should find you.
Still it’s a mistake many of us have made, me included… #MusicAboutRealLife
